2020 Vidshow Submission Calendar

Hello everyone and welcome to a new year and a community that is most likely going to continue with sparse updates. (Although I am working on changing that...)

Something I have been thinking about is putting together a post about the various conventions that run vid shows and listing the submission dates.

I have listed a few below but I'm sure there are many more that I have missed. So if anyone knows any conventions (or similar) run vidshows and accept vid submissions, please leave a comment below so I can add them to the list. Thanks!

List of Conventions

• Escapade (Feb 21-23rd) - a weekend-long convention attended and run by slash fans of many fandoms and flavors.
• Fanworks (Aug 7-9th)- a convention where fans share, discuss, and celebrate all of the creative works we make and love.
• TGIF/F (Feb 13-16th) - a multi-fandom femslash convention designed to build connections, encourage discussion, and celebrate the media and characters we love.
• VidUKon (June 12-14th) - Vidding Convention in the UK (Vid Submission dates TBD)

Dates to Note

January 2020

January 17th - Signups close for the Vidder Auction (VidUKon)
January 31st - Submission deadline for Femslash Vidshow (TGIF/F)

February 2020

February 3rd - Submission deadline for Vid Show (Escapade)

June 2020

June 7th - Submission deadline for Sparkle Motion vids (Fanworks)
June 14th - Submission deadline for Non-Premiering vids (Fanworks)
June 28th - Submission deadline for Premieres & Variations vids (Fanworks)
