2022 Vidding Calendar

Welcome to the 2022 Vidding Calendar, a list of vidding related events throughout the year that you can take part in, submit vids to, etc.

Please leave a comment for any event that I have missed. It can be for any platform and any fandom.

Where dates are known, I have included them but otherwise I listed the event under the month it occurred last year. Additionally, for exchanges, which tend to have multiple dates, I have listed them under the month the first date of note occurs. All this to say, please check the specific communities to confirm the dates and whether they are going ahead this year, don't rely on this.

Plain links are for conventions that as far as I know allow vid submissions. Dreamwidth usernames are for exchanges that are vid focused or allow vids.

Also, since there aren't a lot of vidding specific exchanges anymore (at least the ones I know of), are there any vidding exchanges or challenges that people would like to see?

I'm not sure I understand your request. Did you have something specific you wanted to add to the next newsletter? If so, just leave a comment to any post with your news.

If you mean you want to be added so you can read the newsletter, you just need to be subscribed to this community and then you'll see everything that gets posted :)

constrictcon is usually in July.
DC-Slash is scheduled for July 29th - 31st (vids are due by July 1st).
FSN North America's convention is usually in October.
SHareCon is scheduled for October 14 -17th.
CONfabulation is scheduled for October 20th - 23rd.

Also, I believe Bitchin' Party is postponed until 2023 or 2024.

I believe CON.TXT is happening in 2023, but not this year
